A New Begining.....

It is now a new begining.... Now laid off from my job after 4 years I am going to persue my love for all things art! I have started an ETSY store and will have some things up on that in a couple of days. The store name is Ruby Door Antiques and art or you can find it using kimcollage. I have made some victorian cuff bracelets with beads and velvet....VERY COOL.... I am starting on some hand painted necklaces and other art projects. I will be selling the items on Etsy, Ebay or you can contact me at kimcollage@hotmail.com.

Stuff on Ebay I sell

Another one of my hobbies is selling items on Ebay. I have this great antique French wedding display listed on Ebay right now. It has the original wax head dress and great ormolu beveled mirrors! My seller name is kim996. I am always finding new and unusual things to list. So if you are looking for anything......maybe I have it?? Let me know!
This is a "French Bed Crown" that I made using old velvet fabrics and tassels!! It hangs from the wall above your bed. You add drapes that would connect to the inside and flow down around your bed.

Some Of My CreATIonS

This is a french screen that I made. Using old velvet and some board I tufted all the velvet and painted the screen black w/ gold scrolls down the side.
Velvet handmade purses using old fabric and metallic fringe. I am not perfect at sewing!! But it makes them a little more interesting....

This box purse was made with a antique metallic applique and velvet trims

This is my "DREAM" collage. He was made jusy using a canvas and adding dominos, fabric, a old tuna can and a mold of a head that I painted.
